For tape applications requiring resistance to most chemicals used in electroplating and anodizing processes, use our 3M™ Electroplating Tape 470. This tan, conformable tape features an abrasion resistant backing ideal for use with plating chemicals, anodizing chemicals, milling, etching and peening operations.
Use 3M™ Electroplating Tape 470 with plating chemicals, electroplating nickel, electroless nickel, milling and etching – in titanium or peening operations. Our tape resists most common solvents. Its abrasion, moisture, chemical and wear resistant, allowing it to withstand rugged working conditions. The non-corrosive, flexible vinyl backing is conformable, to adapt to irregular surfaces.
